Not uncommon: These are changes in the bones of the back associated with aging. These changes are similar to arthritis changes and do not necessarily cause any symptoms. They can be seen in most people to varying degrees after age 40-50. These spurs may irritate the nerves going to the buttocks or legs. Th spondylosis refers to one vertebrae sliding out of line slightly with the others. This is minor /common
