Conservative surgeon: There are several possibilities. The surgeon may feel that your problem(s) will not be helped by surgery. Another possibility is the doctor doesn't want to operate at multiple levels. Spine surgeons usually don't want to operate unless they are sure surgery can help you. This is an excellent attitude.
