My lower back mri result:small posterior annular tear at l4/l5 level &mild diffuse posterolateral disc protusion at l4/l5 and l5/s1 level causing mild indentation of thecal sac &mild compromise of left lateral recesses.what does it mean &how to treat?

Your report is consistent with mild-moderate lumbosacral spondylosis and degenerative disc disease, but would not be an indication for surgery unless unremitting painful disability, progressive weakness and atrophy, urinary problems. Physical therapy and exercise would be a more preferable approach at this point.
