Wisdom tooth/smoking: Would not recommend it ,let the tooth heal .Smoking constricts vessels and limits blood supply to organs/bones. It may interfer with healing and promote dry socket. Discuss with your dentist.

Only: Yes you can smoke only if you want to compromise healing. Would be better to wait a full 72 hours or longer. Smoking damages tissues and can lead to all kinds of post-surgical complications. This would be a really good time to consider quitting. The best time to quit is before smoking kills you.
