See endocrinologist: Hi. The abscess was treated appropriately and should heal now. Wording is odd...are you the patient? Guessing not since DH is a "he", and you are on BCPs. Patient (DH) needs to see a doctor for determination of type 1 vs. type 2, diabetes and dietary education, and management. The abscess will heel better with controlled blood sugar now that it's been incised and drained. Case a little unclear.
