I understand abscess has to be opened and drained but what if you have multiple abscess around both thighs and groin and some do not have a head ?

Seeyour Family Doc: Do not open or drain anything until you see your family doc...Opening and draining may or may not treat the symptoms, but not the cause of the lesions. You need to have your doc examine you to determine the cause of the "abcesses" and have appropriate treatment or referral for treatment.
