Repeat it once more.: Retest once more to ease your mind. It is very uncommon, but not impossible to test positive after a year. If the repeat test is negative, relax! If you have symptoms that make you afraid you have HIV, get a physical from your doctor as well. If you have continued to practice unsafe sex, then all bets are off & you are at ongoing risk of contracting HIV and other STD's. Use protection from now on.
