NO: C-reactive protein (CRP) and Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) are non specific markers of inflammation. There are several more specialized tests to check for HIV. Local pharmacies now have an HIV antibody test in the back of the store. I suggest trying this first or seeing your PCP for more information.
