Cont to see GI reg: At the present time the medical literature does not have any statistics that would define your chance of getting colon cancer after finding the serrated adenoma in the asc colon. You are at increased risk, but-Sorry I cannot give you a % risk, but this does not appear in the literature. Your GI DR will be watching this very closely and I would suggest you continue with vigilant checkups.

Low: You need another colonoscopy in 5 years based on the size and type of adenoma you describe, to make sure others do not develop that are larger or different in type. Not smoking and no family history are great factors in your favor.
