A member asked:

What's the difference in the aortas compliance to physical stress and psychological stress? does it narrow or expand in the different situations?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Aortic compliance: The physical compliance of the aorta is its response to the blood pressure, wall stress presented it. There is no reason to expect that if physical or psychologic causes yielded the same wall stress that the compliance would differ.
