More info....: The heart rate of 173 BPM is fast and meets the definition of tachycardia. The next question is what was the rhythm when your your rate was 173? So, to make this diagnosis and then decide on treatment based on this diagnosis, you need to see a cardiologist. The cardiologist can look at your monitor results and decide on what to do from here. Heartbeat gets up to 120+bpm while standing around, no exercise, no anxiety, ect at the time. 48hr Holter monitor showed it got to 154bpm while standing still, not active. Cause(s) of heart racing when standing 10+ mins? Slows down when I sit down.

Hi I have recently had a holter moniter for 6 days which showed sinus rhythm throughout occasional pvcs and pacs and a few 1 degree heart blocks. Also isolated wenchebach at night could u help i am severely anxious that it's serious?
