A member asked:

Can subcutaneous scar tissue be fixed to a bone. i banged my anterior tibia last july when i fell down stairs. doctor found scar tissue in x-rays ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

May be: Anterior part of tibia does not have much subcutaneous tissue , there is chance for scar tissue attached to bone . Subcuta neous scarti tissue may be seen in x-ray but it may or may not be attached to bone .Better discuss this with your doctor ,he can explain to you,by showing you the x-ray film .
