I have a very small nodule on the apex of my lung found on chest x-ray my doctor saidit may be scar tissue or a blocked bone shadow, it is on the apex and i am 70 years old, is it cancer?

Hard to say: Although lung cancers can present as lung nodules, most isolated lung nodules are not due to cancer. If you are in doubt, it is better to obtain a second opinion.

Biopsy can give the definitive answer. However taking biopsies is an invasive test which may not be necessary. In person evaluation by a physician can answer your questions more accurately.
