Tonsils were bleeding while trying to remove deep tonsil stones. the most they've ever bled. getting a tonsillectomy in 2 mo. should i be worried?

No: Common to bleed if you dig in them. Make sure you gargle with salt water and dont take aspirin or ibuprofe. If it doesnt stop. you need to go to the ER

Tonsil stone: No reason to worry. The tonsil tissue was traumatized with the extraction of the tonsillith. Consume cool-cold beverages and gargle with cold water to slow down bleeding. Spit it out, try not to swallow the blood to avoid vomiting. Keep physical activity and BP low. If blleding is significant you may need cautery. Tonsillectomy will be the definitive tx for recurrent stones.
