I'm getting tonsil stones approx once per a week. removed with a cotton bud. ent suggested tonsillectomy is this the only option?

Tonsil stones: I hope you can avoid a tonsillectomy at your age. In my opinion tonsillar stones , a buildup of debris, are more of a nuisance than anything serious. I assume you don't smoke and have good dental hygiene. Stay hydrated drinking plenty of water and gargle salt water at least twice a day. Tonsillectomy would be the next option if you feel the stones are intolerable.
