Calculus: If the yellow particles are calculus (hardened bacterial colonies) you will need to see a dentist to have the material scraped off your teeth.

You don't: Tarter between your teeth can cause gum recession. Removing it is not a do-it-yourself project. You need a professional, a trained Dentist or Hygienist to remove the accretions. Then your Dentist or Hygienist can teach you how to prevent new formations.
