NO: As a physician with this experience as a patient I can tell you that you cannot get rid of it by yourself. One thing you can do it good maintenance of your teeth as much as possible. Floss, use a gum brush between the teeth , you may want to use a water pik to also help flush out debris and buildup , but only a good cleaning can get down far below the gum line to help resolve the periodontitis.
