Walk walk walk: walking is easy on the joints and burns calories at a constant rate. Start with 30 minutes a day and try and work up to 1 hour a day. Use stairs whenever you can. You'd be amazed at how many calories that burns. Try to eat as much lean protein and fiber as possible. Green tea can also help increase metabolic rate.
