No: It's unlikely that the cyst is preventing you from losing weight... But at that size it definitely could be increasing the 'size' of your abdomen, meaning, that you could look a lot fuller in the abdomen than you truly are. At 15 cm did your gynecologist offer to remove it? If causing you pain or discomfort, you may want to consider. Or if preventing you from exercise and losing the weight?

Are your sure?: A 15 centimeter cyst is huge and needs to be surgically removed. Are you sure about the size?
