Depends on "while": This will depend on how long a "while" has been. Also, measuring height on a 1 year old can be difficult for some. Height should be measured head to toe with them lying down o exam table or measuring frame. Standing against a wall is unreliable less than 2 years old. Talk with your pediatrician to check your child's growth chart and review their growth velocity.
