A member asked:

Can being underweight as a teenager stunt ones growth? i was around 44kg at 14-15 years old, with a height of 163cm. i was very active, but wasnt a big eater. could this have stunted my growth, bearing in mind that i still grew to 170cm by 21?

Maybe/not. A males expected final height is the average of both parents + 5cm +/-. You don't supply enough data to see if you are near expected final height or not to reason out any cause.

Poor health and diet can interfere with growth. Family history and DNA are also contributing factors. An endocrinologist can best explain this to you.
