How old is baby?: Only use hypoallergenic, fragrance free, sensitive skin items (laundry detergent, soap, lotions, or creams), avoid fabric softeners in the laundry. Bathe baby only 2-3 times per week. Keep the skin hydrated with a good emollient (thicker than lotion). Talk you your pediatrician about the issue to get full evaluation and to ensure it really is eczema and discuss other measure you can take.

Moiturize: It is important with dry skin conditions to moisturize frequently. Also important to bathe less frequently as that can remove some of the skin's oils and further dry it out. Products such as aveeno, (oatmeal) mustella, curel or aquaphor can be effective. If the area is extremely dry and red 1% hydrocortisone can also be used 2-3x/day until better along with moisturizers. See your doctor if not improving
