Hi doctor, for the baby's eczema, i'm a little bit worried about the advantan cream, thinking if i apply it on the baby's skin, it will works quickly in short-term, but the eczema will be back, can't be totally cured? am i right?

No cure for eczema: You are correct- there is no cure for eczema, you can only treat the symptoms as they arise and use preventative measures to keep bad outbreaks from happening. Methyprednisolone cream (advantan) is a temporary measure, to be used only on small areas of skin, and watch carefully so that your child does not lick/suck on the area where the med is applied or ingest any of the medication.
