Take a break: Hold on there partner. All cortisone creams lose their effectiveness after 2 weeks. Take a 1 week break between the 2 weeks so it will not thin the skin or be absorbed. Most importantly the cortisone cream ceases to work by week three. Protopic ointment would be ideal for the one week off period.
