Find a hematologist: A blood specialist can monitor you better. The most important test to check for MGUS/MM is serum Protein Electrophoresis (SPE), done at 6-12 monthly Unless the M protein level is >3Gm/dl there is not much more in the way of testing needed unless you have bone pains. A bone marrow exam to determine your plasma cell percentage in the marrow is the next test which would be most useful .
