My 13 year son has an avulsion hip flexor. our doctor said 2 weeks of crutches and then start walking on it. should he not do stretches and or physio.

Rest: The rest period is to allow for healing. Once the doc says he can start walking (which is good physic) he can do light stretching. Once he's off the crutches ask the doc about a PT assessment/referral then.
