Hi. i hurt my hip two weeks ago, skipping with a jump rope, and still have pain in my groin, upper leg and hip, especially after attempting exersize or when walking. should i see a doctor? should i go to a specialist or go to a gp first?

Groin strain: Starting with GP should be fine. Most groin injuries are associated with adductor strains and osteitis pubis. Both conditions common and typically resolve with conservative therapy. Other possibilities include the following: sports hernia, groin disruption, iliopsoas bursitis, stress fractures, avulsion fractures, nerve compression and snapping hip syndrome.
