Gallbladder?: Do you have a history of trauma to the area that could have bruised or even broken that rib? It certainly could be a muscle spasm or stitch. The other possibility is gallbladder disease. The gallbladder is found just under your right ribs and in addition to pain often causes nausea when inflamed but not always. If this has been going on for awhile or gets severe you need to see a doctor.
