Yes: Sometimes bronchospasm can present this way. She may be trapping air in her lower bronchioles. Call and see her pediatrician today. :)

Good to be safe: The most common cause of this is something called precordial catch syndrome. But it would be a good idea to have a doctor listen to her heart and lungs and make sure nothing else is abnormal on her exam.
