Yes: If you have diabetes and your sugars run high then you tend to urinate often and become dehydrated. It is important to keep your sugars in good control and to drink plenty of water if you are diabetic.

Yes.: But dehydration is caused by many other conditions and medications, principally not drinking enough liquids or drinking too much caffeine (which is a diuretic and makes you lose more through your kidneys than you may be taking in your gut). Alcohol also dehydrates. If you have a family history of diabetes, find yourself getting tired, weak or sweaty, or extremely anxious, then get yourself check
