A member asked:

I asked for an aspheric monocular iol set for near for a catract. do i run a high risk of anisometropia compared to untreated eye? want crisp near.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: If the basic power of the fellow eye is about 4 diopters or less different than the operated eye. you will not have anisometropia. Presumably you will in time get the unoperated eye to have surgery and can adjust accordingly.
