Most likely yes: Do not wear this appliance.. it will cause more harm than do good. You'll need to make an appointment with your orthodontist... either the appliance can be adjusted to fit properly, or you'll need a new one.

Change: Chances are the mouth guard didn't change, your mouth did. Please return to the Dentist that made the mouthguard for revision or replacement.
