Ask the surgeon: I do not have enough information to guess what surgery was done and for what condition. Some colostomies can be reversed. Only his surgeon would know what is possible regarding his future care or surgical options.

Not enough info: Why was the colostomy done? Why was the Kidney removed? The surgeon who performed the surgery would be the best one to answer your question.
