Probably: This is an antibiotic and if the germ is sensitive to its effects it will help. Regardless of the treatment selected, some antibiotics will not work on certain germs because of antibiotic resistance to that or several medications.Persistence of symptoms or worsening should trigger a call to the doc to notify them of the issue.
