White pupils: Leukocoria refers to white pupils which can be due to tumor, retinal detachment, changes from ROP. The combination of retinal detachment and leukocoria, regardless of the ROP, requires specialized evaluation for retinoblastoma as 50 percent of infants with leukocoria will have this malignancy.
