Eyeball awareness: Cataract surgery is considered a very low risk, day surgery procedure. You don't necessarily need 5 days, but that's up to you, your job, and your doctor. Since this is not a retinal procedure, the ROP is not going to impact this surgery which is on the outside of the eyeball.
