Difficult to say: As determining which medication and/or treatments will be best for you back pain, is very much dependent on what is causing your back pain. If you would like a better educated answer, please consider providing more information or better yet to consider a formal consultation through HealthTap. Best of luck.

NSAID, acetaminophen: You can take acetaminophen or an NSAID like naproxen. More importantly, stay active, build your core strength, and get checked if you have pain radiating to the foot or if you have leg weakness. Hope that helps.
