About

Bio

My training is in family medicine, treating the whole person in the context of their family. I have enjoyed practicing primary care medicine, though now my practice emphasizes outpatient care for seniors. I also enjoy using information technology to improve quality of care. I am currently writing a book to help make medical advance care (end-of-life) planning a routine part of everyday patient care, even in the busy practice setting. Fun for me: family activities with my wife & children, bicycling, swimming, kettlebells, movies & travel.
