Classify pain: Prior to beginning medication. I would consider the severity, duration, activity and type of pain. Use of a scrotal support could be of assistance. Pain management is to go low and slow. Cold compresses may help. I would begin with aspirin or acetaminophen. Anything else will probably have to be prescribed by your physician.
