Hip pain: "popping": There is a condition of partial dislocation of the hip which is genetic in origin. If detected early (first year or so of life) it can be treated with orthopedic immobilization. At your age, more advance treatment msy be necessary. See an orthopedic surgeon in Annapolis or Baltimore.
