Glabellar reflex: This is normal. It is natural for the eyes to blink when the head is tapped. (Especially around the eyes) After the first few taps the brain "gets it" and stops blinking despite continued tapping. Persistence of blinking indicates that the frontal part of the brain is not working as it should. This is called Myerson's sign. Seen with advanced Parkinson's as well.
