My right eye has been twitching for quite a few months and i have been experiencing blurry vision occasionally, please can you advise what could possibly be the reason this occurring ?

Possibly myokymia: Random twitching of an eyelid, which happens in normal people, is called myokymia (an involuntary, spontaneous, quivering of a few muscle cell bundles within a muscle). Myokymia starts and stops spontaneously. In the eyelids it can last a few minutes to a few days. One should see an ENT doctor and ophthalmologist (eye doctor) if such symptoms persist or keep recurring, such as in this case.
