Gout: You have not given us enough information to give you a good answer. The white stuff may be part of a gouty tophi if you suffer from gout. I do not think it is related to the nail removal. Give us more information for a more complete answer.

It's the Stuff.: I am having a hard time imagining exactly what is going on. I recommend that you make an appointment with your doctor and literally demonstrate to him what you have just described. He can then test assess and advise treatment in one fell swoop.
