Get evaluated: need xrays and exam to rule out fracture.

Maybe fracture: Elbows are easy to fracture & treatment depends on the age of the patient. Kids under 6 almost always need surgery - they break the end of the humerus (upper arm bone) while adults usually break the radius (forearm bone) & only need a sling. Bleeding into the joint, fractured or not, will limit range of motion. Elevate in sling, ice, rest & Ace wrap compression will help until the Xray.
