Is it true venous ultrasound only sees what technician decides/wants to look at? seems very subjective. how can clots be detected properly like this?

Systematic: An ultrasound of the veins includes a systematic survey of the veins at specific levels, and using various modalities including doppler ultrasound which detects flow, and using physical compression to demostrate that the vein collapses. A certified technologist does the scan the same way every time not just randomly or at will.
