Pain in calve got a ultrasound done could a blood clot get misssed?

Possible: It is possible for a clot to be missed although the accuracy with the venous ultrasound in terms of dvt's is very high. I would recommend close follow up with your primary care physician. Many things can cause pain in the legs.

Not common: Ultrasound is a great test for this diagnosis. If symptoms persist, particularly in the setting of an elevated d-dimer, repeat ultrasound can be reassuring.
