I've had sudden dizziness and feeling of fainting when standing lately. i take metoprolol and diovan (valsartan). what could cause this? i'm over weight by +60.

Check your: heart rate and blood pressure when you go from sitting to standing., You may be experiencing a fall in BP and the metoprolol is not allowing your heart rate to increase as you change position, Talk w/your doctor about adjusting your medication.
