Metoprolol tartrate. i'm taking 50mg in am and 50 mg at night. night does not bother me. but after taking in the am, i get head pressure, complete body out of balance, dizzy and just terrible feeling. any suggestions as to what i should do?

Those are common side effects of metoprolol, although it sounds like you have them worse than usual. You don't feel them at night because you're sleeping. If you're taking it for hypertension, beta-blockers may not be the best drugs for you, but you need to tell your doctor or (s)he won't know. Also, with time, you may (repeat, MAY) get used to the drug.
