See below: A typical case of MERS consists of fever, cough, and shortness of breath. Pneumonia is a common finding on examination. Gastrointestinal symptoms, including diarrhea have been reported. The CDC confirmed only 2 cases in the US. The 2 patients were successfully treated. It can be deadly as it can cause respiratory failure. Risk of infection is low in the US
