Stop smoking: First of all, cigarettes have life threatening side effects! best way is cold turkey. Other natural options including timed decrease ( ie weaning) hypnosis. There are prescription drugs available to help if these natural options dont work.

Hypnotherapy: Hypnotherapy can break tobacco habits. It can make the use of the tobacco product aversive - even disgusting. That can cause social problems if those near you smoke, but it can work without that extreme an effect too. Here's a hint: the breathing pattern of smokers is actually good to continue - without the cigarette. It is good for you and stopping that is part for what makes it feel so bad. Best.
